A front garden/driveway

The clients driveway was lacking interest - the brief was to create something that would be low maintenance. They wanted to keep their existing cherry, magnolia and acer trees. The house and its interior was very modern and contemporary.

We wanted to create a cool contemporary feel by using cobbles and slate. The slate was planted up with herbaceous perennials, shrubs, grasses and specimen plants that would produce hot colors in the summer and scented shrubs for the winter and spring.
